During the warmer months, guests can spend the day by the lake and private beach, cool off at the outdoor pool, enjoy the sports courts, or rent a community boat for a relaxing afternoon on the water. Spend warmer days hiking to waterfalls, enjoying the lake, visiting Jim Thorpe, or experiencing the area’s rafting, paintball, and outdoor attractions. During winter, nearby Jack Frost and Big Boulder offer skiing and snow activities, while indoor waterparks, restaurants, shopping, and family attractions provide plenty to enjoy year-round. Please review these important requirements and policies before booking. AGE REQUIREMENT The primary booking guest must be at least 25 years old and remain at the property for the entire reservation. Third-party bookings are not permitted. COMMUNITY REGISTRATION & AMENITY BADGES Towamensing Trails requires guest and vehicle information before arrival. Registration procedures, vehicle passes, community rules, and access requirements are established by the HOA and may change without notice. Up to 6 blue amenity badges are provided for registered guests. These badges are permanent property items and must be returned to their designated location before checkout. Badges may need to be worn or shown when using community amenities. Lost, missing, stolen, or damaged badges are subject to a $150 replacement fee per badge. Community amenities are generally most available between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Exact dates, hours, rules, and availability are controlled by Towamensing Trails and may be affected by weather, staffing, maintenance, water testing, or other conditions outside the host’s control. TRASH & RECYCLING Guests must follow Towamensing Trails trash and recycling procedures. The community disposal center is available only during posted hours. Additional instructions will be provided before checkout. FIRE SAFETY The indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit may be used only when permitted by community rules and local fire restrictions. Burn only proper firewood. Do not burn trash, cardboard, food, treated wood, or other materials. Fires must never be left unattended and must be fully extinguished before leaving the area, going to sleep, or checking out. HOT TUB CARE The hot tub is professionally serviced between stays. If it must be drained, cleaned, and refilled, it may take several hours to reach full temperature, especially during colder weather. Please shower before entering, keep food, glass, soaps, oils, and lotions away from the water, and securely replace the cover after each use. STARTER SUPPLIES A starter supply of basic household essentials is provided. Guests staying for an extended period should plan to purchase additional supplies as needed. NATURAL SETTING & WEATHER The cabin is located in a wooded Pocono setting. Year-round pest control is maintained, but occasional insects or wildlife may still be seen, particularly during warmer months and seasonal changes. Snow, ice, fallen leaves, and changing weather conditions may affect local roads, the driveway, outdoor spaces, and community amenity availability.
